Differences and quality<\/strong><\/p>\n Biodegradable soles are derived from the microporous soles we have been producing for years. During the production process, a special additive is introduced, making them biodegradable and therefore easier to dispose of.<\/p>\n This means they break down into their chemical components thanks to the action of biological agents such as bacteria found in specific disposal environments\u2014a long process that takes about 5 years.<\/p>\n Biodegradable soles do not<\/strong> compromise on aesthetics. They fully meet the standards of beauty, functionality, feel, and comfort<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Recycled soles, on the other hand, are produced by reusing microporous processing waste. Instead of being discarded, the scraps are ground down and mixed again for new production. These reproduced soles look different due to the reused materials, but maintain the same comfort and functionality<\/strong> as standard soles.<\/p>\n What\u2019s the essential difference between the two?<\/strong><\/p>\n Both are ways to contribute to the well-being of the planet. However, while biodegradable soles<\/strong> focus on making waste easier to dispose of, recycled soles<\/strong> aim to eliminate waste generation altogether<\/strong>.<\/p>\n We are truly proud of these new projects, especially during this strange and difficult time for all of us\u2014when we need to fight and reinvent ourselves to start again.
